At ACS-NAI, our on-site test lab is fully equipped and qualified to perform multiple types of flammability tests required to demonstrate compliance against aircraft flammability regulations.

Our test site can perform the following types of flammability testing:

Horizontal Burn Test
  • Vertical and horizontal Bunsen burner tests
  • 45 degree Bunsen burner tests
  • 60 degree Bunsen burner tests for wires & cables
  • Oil burner tests for aircraft seat cushions
  • Fire containment testing for waste compartments

 

We conduct flammability testing in accordance with FAA FAR Part 25 Appendix F, and record our compliance findings on Transport Canada form AE-100.
